Jr. Business Development Associate - Los Angeles

The position identifies, researches and oversees the execution of new business opportunities and strategic partnerships within Business Development. The Junior Business Development Associate would also be responsible for assisting the Business Development Manager/ Senior Manager with overall research, outreach and strategy related tasks.

This position may include some of all of the following:

  • Identifies new business opportunities based on market research, strategy and interaction with Sales/Marketing.
  • Conducts outreach to prospective Publishers, illustrating GN key sales offerings, value proposition and general services.
  • Negotiates Publisher sales agreements to further fortify existing GN business model and sales efforts.
  • Conducts research via comScore, Alexa, Evaliant and other research tools.
  • Interfaces with Marketing to develop materials and documentation to bolster the efforts of Sales.
  • Coordinates with Account Management to facilitate the transition of new Publisher partners to Management team.
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate with publishers and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Strong analytical and creative skills, with attention to detail and organization.
  • Basic knowledge of the internet, internet ad sales and key players in the space.
  • Ability to interact and work cohesively in a team environment.
  • Strong oral communication skills, ability to negotiate with others and manage multiple tasks and projects.
