Account Executive - LA, NY or Chicago
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Account Executive with outstanding sales, communication, and management skills as well as a gift for developing and maintaining relationships. The successful candidate will be working from either our Los, Angeles, Chicago or New York office and must be very familiar with all top agencies in the area and clients within surrounding territory. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Build awareness of Gorilla Nation's offerings and capabilities within the market
  • Ensure optimal market coverage, professional client engagements, increasing awareness of services and capabilities
  • Manage specific key accounts, and will work all levels of client and advertising agency decision makers and influencers
  • Identify and develop strategies for penetrating key accounts and prospects
  • Provide regular and timely feedback, forecasts, reports, competitive information and field intelligence
  • Provide continual input and assessments to sales management in order to drive ongoing improvements in sales strategy and approach
  • Assist in development of local marketing initiatives and participation in industry events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 2-3 years of online ad sales experience
  • Must have a history of quota attainment
  • Thorough understanding of the value of brand based advertising and marketing; experience selling major sponsorships to advertising agencies and key accounts
  • Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within an individual and team environment
  • Exceptional leadership skills; exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional presentation skills - creation and delivery
  • Ability to accurately identify and assess opportunities, and apply resources and strategies appropriately
  • Demonstrated self-direction and ability to work autonomously
