Software Engineer - Scottsdale, AZ
Responsibilities:
•Develops new as well as maintains and tunes existent PHP code for the owned and operated websites  
•Assists with integration and troubleshooting of services  
•Responsible for troubleshooting application related issues and insuring/maintaining highest possible application uptime and browser compatibility
•As a part of a team, responsible for migration of legacy websites to a dynamic publishing CMS based platform
•Responsible for the development of the proprietary CMS suite of applications
•Responsible for functional cross training

Required skills:
•Five years experience in web application development
•Experience building and maintaining dynamic web sites  
•Strong understanding of and working experience with PHP and LAMP.
•Strong experience with JavaScript and jQuery or other JS libraries.
•Strong understanding of and working experience with MySQL 5.x or above.  
•Working experience building and maintaining dynamic sites back-ended by a CMS
•Good understanding of internet applications and its workflow technology.
•Excellent problem solving, collaboration and communication skills
•Has working knowledge of MVC frameworks (CakePHP a Plus!!)

Desired skills:
•Experience utilizing standards-compliant markup and CSS is a strong plus.
•Experience with highly transactional and geographically distributed web environments is a strong plus.
•Good understanding and working knowledge of Joomla CMS is a strong plus.
•Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Lean or Agile product development.
•Bachelors/Masters Degree in a related field.
